I know this isn't a very Easter-y picture, but it depicts what you get the day before Easter in Colorado. Spring is just around the corner here and you can tell by the snow, as spring approaches those light wispy flakes of winter turn into heavy wet fluffy flakes.

Anyways, there is something renewing about a fresh snow puting a blanket on everything, like making all things new again.

I was invited to enter one of my pictures into a photo contest on Flickr. I was kind of excited since this is the first time I have entered a online photo contest. You can see my picture above and although I didn't win anything other than the notariety in the Flickr community, I am proud none the less.

I was going through some pictures from last year and ran across this one of our dog Max. Max is an interesting little doggie, part Chihuahua part Corgi. I did some post processing on this picture in Adobe Lightroom to give the photo a kind of illustrative quality.
